Our projects

Pilot Partnership Program
As an interdisciplinary artist and social impact entrepreneur, our founder received an individual grant to launch this program as one of the recipients of the City Initiative grant focused on disaster resilience, enabling Art for Climate Resilience to be funded partly by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance. The program will allow testing of our venture’s curriculum in community.

Community Arts Health Pilot
Art for Climate Resilience is a six-month community arts in health program that combines creative expression and food justice to empower Houston’s Third and Fifth Ward in addressing climate risks such as heat index, climate mental health, disaster preparedness, and food insecurity.

Sustainability & SEL Curriculum
Co-designed by the community to support cultural sensitivity and responsive curriculum integration for increased climate literacy and social-emotional-learning.

Strengthening Community Resilience
Community resilience is central to this art-health program as we will support ecosystem building, collaboration and social cohesion to improve disaster adaptation. Pre- and post-event surveys will be included in our workshops to evaluate our impact, research, and efforts to our community goals.
